There’s something truly magical about a sunrise session, and Kate & Austin braved the early morning light for their beautiful engagement shoot in Kettle Cove. We met in the quiet moments just before dawn and began capturing photos right as the sun rose over the sand dunes, bathing Kettle Cove in the most dreamy, golden light—it was the perfect New England morning!

Some reasons why I absolutely adore sunrise sessions include:

• The light is unmatched—soft, golden, and incredibly flattering.
• Fewer crowds, which means more privacy and less distraction.
• A calm, peaceful atmosphere that helps couples feel relaxed and present.
• A fresh start to the day—there’s something special about beginning your morning with love, laughter, and a little adventure. After, I always encourage my couples to go on a little coffee/breakfast date with their partner just to continue to fun for the day!

Sunrise sessions might require an early alarm, but the results are always so worth it!
