about

Hey, I'm Meg! I am a wedding & portrait photographer based out of Austin, TX & Maine with a passion to create! I am an Army Veteran that decided after four years of service, I wanted to tell stories again. I have always loved to create, but I felt that with photography it could be purposeful. It could be rooted with meaning.

I grew up writing stories, pretending I was the next romance novelist.

Thank you for being here!

I’m a romantic at heart–but unlike the movies and books, I recognize that real life calls for authentic love stories.

Throughout my entire adolescence, I wrote and wrote and wrote—stories and articles, essays, love letters, poems.

As I got older, I missed the girl who wrote endlessly and found new ways to tell stories. I missed the girl who wanted to write about and capture love. I was so in love with love. This is when I started to imagine all the ways I could tell stories, and that is when I found photography.

Sharing stories that capture what it means to be a human madly in love

I met my husband in South Korea in 2019, and were married in August of 2023! We have the best boy, our golden retriever, Dune. After we both got out of the military, my husband encouraged me to start writing and creating again, and that is how I bought my first professional camera!

When I'm not capturing weddings, I'm spending time with my husband, Adam  & our dog, Dune.

Adam and I got married in York, Maine. An absolute coastal wedding dream, with all of our loved ones surrounding us.

Fun Fact: My twin sister (and maid of honor) wore blue as my something blue!

My first dance with my husband was "At Last"  by Etta James!

I spent my childhood in Texas but grew up in Maine! Every summer, you’ll find me back home on Sebago Lake, enjoying the loons' calls and soaking up the sun, where my family still resides.

I grew up in Maine and will always have an affinity for the craggy coast.

Some of my favorite books include On Earth We are Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong, Bright Dead Things by Ada Limón, and of course, the ACOTAR series (guilty pleasure but seriously I am obsessed!

I love writing poetry & finding new coffee shops to try out!

beautiful stories deserve beautiful photos
